Chester Bennington's 15-Year-Old Son Shares Powerful Message About Suicide

Late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's 15-year-old son Draven shared a powerful message to those dealing with suicidal thoughts for World Suicide Prevention Day.

"Hi, I'm Draven Bennington, and I'm here on National Suicide Prevention Week. I want to make a commitment that I will to someone before I hurt myself when I'm feeling depressed, sad or going through a hard week, month or year," Draven said in the video as Linkin Park's song "Numb" plays. "I want to challenge you to do the same -- to help yourself, not hurt yourself."

Bennington took his own life on July 20, 2017 at the age of 41. September 10th to 16th marks National Suicide Prevention Week. Watch the video above.
