Machine Gun Kelly told fans at the beginning of December 2019 that he planned on releasing a pop-punk album in the new year and it seems like he definitely stuck to his word.
On Tuesday (January 14), MGK revealed the name of the pop-punk album he's been working on with Barker — who serves as a producer. Before announcing the name, the rapper teased fans by tweeting: “Announcement coming today just to get the year started .. can u guess what it is,” but luckily we didn't have to wait too long.
During an interview, MGK wasted no time letting fans know the upcoming release will be titled Tickets To My Downfall. Check it out in the video below!
The new project has been anything but a secret. Machine Gun Kelly has been posting clips from the studio to social media and let fans know at the beginning of the year that he was finishing up the album with the blink-182 drummer. Escape The Fate's Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft, blackbear and more have also been in the studio with them.
MGK and Barker took a break from recording the album and surprised an LA crowd in December with an impromptu performance of blink-182's hit “What's My Age Again?”
MGK released his latest album Hotel Diablo in July 2019. At the time of publishing, Tickets To My Downfall doesn't have a release date.
